Photo Challenge 2018: Silence
When I hear the word silence or think about silence, I instantly think calm, quiet and peaceful. For me this can be sitting on my own and just embracing the calm before the storm or it could be listening to the rain on my window.
Me and my partner paid a visit to the Stratford Butterfly Farm where I noticed this little water feature. I’m still learning about all the things I can do with my camera. So I stayed in this bit for a few minutes doing my best to get smooth silky running water. I’m glad I persevered to be honest. To me this is relaxing. Sitting on a bench and listening to the calming noise of the water flowing. To me this is actually silence. Due to my mental health issues sometimes it feels like my brain is trying to run faster than anything else and overworking. As soon as I came to this little bridge everything in my head stopped and finally it was like somebody turned off the chaos behind the smile. After this I’m really looking forward to what other kind of images I can capture with a little more practice.
